Lausanne can easily be reached from anywhere – by road (the A1/E25 and A9/E27 motorways), by rail (both the Swiss Federal Railway network and the French TGV Paris-Milan line) and by air (just 40 miles from Geneva-Cointrin International Airport). The competition is held at:

Centre Intercommunal de Glace de Malley
  Chemin du Viaduc 14
  1008 Prilly

By car:
Using the motorways A1/E25 or A9/E27, coming from Geneva, Berne or Neuchâtel head for Lausanne-sud, direction Lausanne-centre/Malley. Leave the motorway at the exit Lausanne-centre/Malley. At the crossroad go straight, up the hill (two lanes) until you reach the roundabout of Malley. Follow the sign "Patinoire" and after passing below the rails turn left at the next crossroad.

By train:
You have two possible solutions. Either you leave the train at Renens (shorter, but unfortunately not all the trains stop there) or at Lausanne.

If you leave the train at Renens you have to go to the bus stop of line 7 (opposite the railway station). After a short trip of about 5 minutes, leave the bus at the station Galicien which is situated just aside the Centre Malley.

A little bit more complicated is the trip from Lausanne. Arrived at the railway station cross the road to take the shuttle Gare-Flon. Change to the TSOL (subway Lausanne west) which is juste aside the stop of the shuttle. About 10 minutes later leave the subway at the station Malley. Follow the road for a few minutes (direction bridge of the railroad), pass under the first bridge and turn left into a small road just before the second bridge... the Centre Malley is in sight !

By bus:
If you're in the city already, the easiest way is to head place St. François (a lot of bus lines pass there) and take the bus line 7, direction Renens. Leave the bus at the station Malley or Galicien.
